The Midland Rockets speed team competed in the fourth MRSO Speed Meet of the season held on January 15, 2017 at Skate World in Troy. Over 40 skaters competed from around the region to include Roseville, Grand Rapids, Mt. Morris, Troy, Canton, and a team from Indiana. The Midland Rockets took first place as the high point team.
